Assessment

 

 

Biomechanical:


A biomechanical assessment involves testing to see how your body is functioning from a muscle and joint perspective. Are you achieving appropriate range of motion in all joints and muscles (flexibility)? Are certain muscles weak and underperforming while other muscles are overworking (muscle balance). Certain movement patterns will also be tested. Is your body moving in an intelligent way (movement strategy)?

 

 

Nutritional:

 

I use 3 main systems of analysis. Metabolic typing, hormonal profiling and dietary log as a foundation for designating an appropriate nutritional plan. Metabolic typing is a system of steering the body towards an eating style that represents what’s best for your genetics, hormonal profiling gives an overview of which hormonal systems of the body are out of balance and contributing to fat storage. The dietary log allows me to assess what you are doing now and identify errors in food selection and timing of meals.

 

 

Lifestyle:

 

Many of your daily behaviours are contributing to health problems and fat storage. I assess your daily habits and look at factors above and beyond food that contribute to fat gain and disease.

 

 

Hormonal:

 

A hormonal profile helps me to assign an appropriate nutritional plan for the individual but it can show so much more. Where your body fat is distributed reflects an individual’s hormonal profile. Hormones that are out of balance have a profound influence on fat storage independent of calorie consumption. You will be guided to make changes in your nutritional plan, lifestyle, exercise and supplement plan to bring the body back to balance hormonally.

 

 

Bioenergetic:


Quantum physics shows us that an energetic description of the universe is the most accurate one. Energy medicine has been described as the future of all medicine hence the popularity of methods like acupuncture and frequency specific micro current. I assess the body energetically based on the Indian Chakra system and a form of kinesiology known as muscle testing.  In this way I can select exercises, mental techniques and supplements to harmonise the principal energy centres (Chakras). I can also offer to my clients hands on healing like bars and access body processes that reduce stress significantly.
